Decision taken: Joyce and Katie joined Dzenza secondary school in Lilongwe.
Going far from home was a big step, especially for Katie and her family, but being in a boarding school will allow them to concentrate on their studies and focus just on them.
For Joyce, who always wanted to go far from Nkhata Bay, this is a first step to reach her dreams.
Dzenza school is known to be a tough school, where only the best students survive. We do hope that Katie and Joyce will be among them. For the moment, after a few weeks, they are very happy about the school education. However, they complain about the food, which apparently is of very poor quality. Their pocket money at the moment is more important than ever: they rely on it for good nutrition.
