Group 6A of the Kohnstammschool in Utrecht has agreed on collecting plastic bottles to help Stella go to school.
Today we went to their class to present the proposal and it was great to see so much enthusiasm from both the children and the teacher, Mathilda. This initiative fits very well with the theme the kids are currently studying at school: human rights. The right to education is certainly one of them!
As a consequence the kids and their families will keep collecting plastic bottles till Christmas. Their deposit will be donated to Marajowi to pay for Stella’s school fees. We are really grateful this was made possible. Stella is enthusiastic too!
