A Computer centre and a cafe

Have you ever thought of a computer centre and cafe in Nkhata Bay? Well, Ramos has and is talking about it since long.

Thanks to the multiple assignments he receives from Stepping Stones International School, to some good customers from the local community and to the excellent coaching he has received during this last year, things are finally getting stable at his shop. He is managing to pay his rent two months in advance, he has a good visibility of his income and expenses and, most importantly, he is very motivated and determined.

With this determination and motivation, he is dreaming of opening a computer learning centre. Here people from his community could gather and learn computer skills for a small fee. In this way they can get some more chances in life. If in this computer centre there was some refreshment too, that would be a dream come true. Easier said than done! That is sure, but don’t we always say that where there is a will there is a way? This should apply also for a young man in a remote village of Malawi, shouldn’t it?

Can we help? Maybe…. Do you know someone who has working but not used laptops that can be given away? No software is needed, Ramos can take care of that…

Even more difficult: do you know someone who is traveling to Malawi and is willing to bring some luggage for us there? That could save so much money… shipping costs 80EUR per each 10kg and we can’t always afford it.

Help us help Ramos moving one more step towards his dream.
